Apple lovers rejoice as the latest iteration of the iPhone; the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be hitting Malaysian stores as early as the 6th of November.
Local carriers Celcom, Maxis and DiGi have confirmed on their sites that both devices will be available on the 6th of November onwards. In fact, the carriers are lending a helping hand to those interested in purchasing these devices by setting up pre-order pages and issuing “readiness checks” by acquiring your personal details prior to the purchase of the device. To those who do not intend to get an iPhone contracted to these carriers, fret not. You can of course get them from a trusted Apple retailer nearby or third party retailers such as Sen Q.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus really standout from the previous generations of iPhones, which is why the craze surrounding them is understandable. They are the first generation of Apple smartphones deemed “large”, sporting a 4.7-inch display for the 6 and phablet-esque 5.5-inch display for the 6 Plus. Also, this is also the first generation to come with two devices instead of one. No doubt Apple’s boldness with the design will spur many loyal Apple fans and new one alike to catch a glimpse of this device.
So to avoid the inevitable long queue at your selected carriers, do check out the online stores of these carriers instead if you intend to purchase the iPhone 6 or the 6 Plus. For now, you can register your interest in the devices at these sites; Maxis, Celcom, DiGi
