(IFA 2014) ZTE has launched three new smartphones!
ZTE has announced three headsets at the IFA 2014 – the ZTE Blade Vec 4G and Vec 3G as well as the ZTE Kis 3 Max.
The Kis 3 Max is the lowest end phone among the three, making it the most affordable. It sports a 4.5 inch FWGA display screen and at ri-band 2G, dual-band 2G, Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity. It also features Bluetooth 3.0 and is powered by a 1850 mAh battery. The device will launch in the United Kingdom, Germany, Greece and Bulgaria at €100 (USD 130/RM 413).
The other two smartphones left in the mix are additions to the LG Blade family. Both are 7.8mm and have casings coated in carbon fiber. Both also feature 5 inch LCD display screen with 720p resolution. Both are in addition, powered by 2300 mAh batteries. There’s where their similarities end.
The Blade Vec 3G is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor and a MediaTek MT6582 chipset. Equipped with 1 GB of RAM, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It has a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front shooter. It offers 3G(dual band), 2G (tri-band), Wi-Fi b/g/n connectivity. The Vec 3G sports Bluetooth 4.0 capabilities and FM radio. The headset has 8 GB worth of internal storage which is expandable with microSD cards. The main physical difference between the two models is that the Vec 3G is 3mm shorter than the 4G variant. The device will only be available for the time being, in Germany at the price of €180 ($USD 234/RM 743).
On the other hand, the Blade Vec 4G has Cat 4 LTE connectivity , tri-band 2G, dual-band 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. With 16 GB worth of storage with a microSD card slot, the device is equipped with 1 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 on a Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1.2GHz quad Cortex-A7 processor. The headset features an 8 megapixel 8 megapixel or 13 megapixel main rear camera depending on region as well as a 1 megapixel or 2 megapixel front shooter, once again depending on region. The Vec 4G version has been released in Turkey, France, Romania, Slovakia, Belgium, Norway and Sweden and costs €230 (USD$298 / RM 947).
