Expect the unexpected at IFA 2014! Toshiba has unveiled its very own Windows tablet into the mix of gadgets and gizmos!
The company launched its Windows 8.1 tablet caused called the Toshiba Encore mini. It’s very affordable with the price tag set at USD$120 (RM 450). It is a 7 inch 1024 x 600 display screened device that 16:9 aspect ratio and five finger touch sensor.
The tablet is equipped unfortunately with only 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage. However, it does have a microSD slot to expand the storage to up to 128 GB. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor.
The Toshiba Encore mini comes with a microUSB and a microUSB to full sized USB cable to attach USB accessories. Sadly, the device does not have an HDMI port or docking connector. The company has tried to compensate this flaw with a Bluetooth keyboard.
The gadget has Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi capabilities. Camera wise, the tablet sport a VGA front facing camera with microphone and a mono speaker. There is a 2 megapixel main shooter on the back. The device comes only in the colour called Winter White and weighs 345g. It is also powered by 13Wh battery that gives the user 7 hours usage time.
