(IFA 2014) ACER introduces three new tablets!
Along with a variety of notebooks, ACER has released three new tablets – the Iconia Tab 8 W, the Acer Iconia Tab 10 and an expanded Acer Iconia One tablet.
The Acer Iconia Tab 8 W features an 8 inch display and is equipped with Windows 8.1 with Bing! The tablet also is filled with all the basic productivity apps one would need including Word, Excel, PowerPOint, OneNote, and Outlook. It also sports dual stereo speakers and it runs on an Intel Atom Z3735G quad-core processor. It comes with an optional “Acer Crunch Keyboard” that’s “easy to slip into a bag and carry around.” The Iconia Tab One 8 W will be available in November in North America for USD$149.99 (RM 500).
The Iconia Tab 10 features an 10.1-inch FHD IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with MediaTek quad-core processor underneath. The gadget is equipped with Dolby Digital Plus surround-sound speakers and 5.1 channel sound over stereo headphones. The gadget will be sold in in the United States in September at the price of USD$199 (RM 650).
The Acer Iconia One 8 tablet on the other hand, sports an 8-inch display and is an expansion of the line that began with the Acer Iconia One originally released in April 2014. With 1280 x 800 pixels , the device is available in a handful of colors across the back. The colours include Jade Green, Sunshine Yellow, Vivid Orange, Sky Blue, Essential White, Midnight Black, Fragrant Pink, Violet Purple, Mia Blue and Garnet Red. The One 8 Tablet will be available in Europe, Asia and the Middle East with a USD$193 (RM613) price tag.
