Huawei is jumping on board with its very own September event in the works. The Chinese tech company has sent out its invite for the IFA 2014 event happening in Berlin next month. And rumour has it, the company’s next flagship phone could feature a fingerprint scanner.
The invitation as seen above looks simple enough with basic text telling us the date and venue of the event. However, it displays fingerprints on the envelope and the invite card. Is this a tease at a fingerprint scanner?
The rumoured flagship will be available in two variants. The better of the two versions will be equipped a 6 inch QHD display screen. The lesser of the two will feature a regular full HD display. Both will be powered by Huawei’s Kirin 920 octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The mobile phones will be known as Ascend Mate 7 and will be equipped with a 13 megapixel main camera, a 5 megapixel front camera. The device will run on Huawei’s Emotion UI 3.0 based on Android 4.4.
