Huawei is looking to up its game with a flagship release! The company has been trying to raise the bar with the Ascend P7 and P7 Special launched in Asia and Europe. It even added sapphire in the manufacturing of the device. Rumor has it that with the success for the P7, the company is looking to release the Ascend P8. With that, images have just leaked that are alleging to be that exact successor.
Courtesy of nowhereelse.fr, the images surfaced alleging to be the frame of the Ascend P8. It looks to be made from aluminium. Could it be that the Chinese manufacturer is looking to produce a aluminium framed flagship this time around? In 2014, we saw the tech company play around with different types of glass and ceramic so it might just be that it’s ready to take it step further.
The frame seems to emulate some of the P7 with the camera hole and flash location. However, it’s still far from an end product. We were hoping to see the Ascend P8 at CES 2015 which is happening is less than two weeks but at the state of the frame in the image, we might have to wait till MWC happening in March instead.
