The device is the same with the original Honor 4X. This means the headset sports a 5.5 inch HD display 1280 x 720p resolution with 8GB worth of internal storage. This can be expanded up to 32 GB with microSD. It features a 13 megapixel F2.0 camera by Sony and a front 5 megapixel shooter. It has dual SIM and LTE connectivity capabilities and out of the box runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It is powered by 3000 mAh battery.
The main difference with the device launched at the anniversary celebration is now the Honor 4X is powered by a 64-bit Kirin 620 processor which is made by Huawei’s very own subsidiary, HiSilicon. The chipset works at the speed of 1.2GHz and has ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores combined with ARM Mali-450 MP4 as its GPU.
The ETA of the devices outside of China is unknown but price will vary with the amount of RAM and type of mobile network the headset supports. Expect the price to range from RNB 799 (MYR 455) to RNB 999 (MYR 565).
