So it has been known a while now that Samsung is working on a Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, faster and better than the original Samsung Galaxy S5. We are suspecting that this would be an Android Silver device. HTC, as a competitor in the Android world will not want to miss out in this scheme either and was rumoured to be developing a Prime version of their flagship, the HTC One M8. The name? Easy, HTC One M8 ‘Prime’. Rumors is that the HTC One M8 Prime would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 clocked in at 2.5GHz, have a larger QHD 5.5-inches display, and 3GB of RAM. With the current LTE you won’t be wanting for more speed, but HTC thinks otherwise. They are fitting the HTC One M8 Prime with a Category 6 LTE antenna for greater LTE speeds. You won’t have to worry about using it when it rains or in the shower either, it’s designed to be waterproof. Intrigued yet? Those are not the most interesting part of the rumour. It is rumoured that HTC will take the phone’s design to the next level, more specifically the material. The HTC One M8 Prime will come with a composite of aluminium and liquid silicone. Now if you know your chemistry, you know that these two things does not mix well. Though there is a aluminium-silicon composite that would better dissipate heat we are curious to see what HTC could come up with the mix of material for the HTC One M8 Prime.
