HTC has officially announced that the HTC One E8 will be making its way to India by the end of the month.
We’ve known about the phone since late May and it made its first appearance in China. We’re not sure where the device will show up next after India. The reported price of the One E8 is Rs 34,900 (approx. $580 USD/RM 1846).
The HTC One E8 looks to be the more affordable version of the One M8. The device sports a polycarbonate body which is cheaper than the metal material the company’s flagships use. The device has a 5 inch 1080 display, 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The gadget also features a 13 megapixel main camera and a front 5 megapixel camera. It will be equipped with 2600 mAh battery.
Another smartphone that was announced is the HTC Desire 616. The lower end phone sports a 5 inch 720 display, a 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core chipset, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage.
The Desire 616 has a 8 megapixel main camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. It is equipped with a 2000 mAh battery. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will put purchases back about Rs 16,900 ($280.85 USD/RM 894)
