A report by KDDI, a Japanese carrier has announced that HTC’s J Butterfly has hit stores.
The HTC J Butterfly looks to be a version of the HTC One in terms of specs but Japanese styled to fit the market it’s aimed at. The full HD 5 inch smartphone is waterproof.
It sports a 13 megapixel main camera while its front shooter is an acceptable 5 megapixel camera. The rear camera is a dual camera model dubbed by KDDI a “Duo Effect” camera with the secondary 2 megapixel module giving depth-of-field adjustment and other features.
The device is topped with Snapdragon 801, 802.11ac WiFi, LTE-Advanced, 150Mbps 4g, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, JBL audio profile (plus bundled earphones) and a Dot View case.
