Remember the HTC Desire? The HTC device that was based on the first ever Google Nexus One or vice versa depending on how you look at it, at the time was one of the devices to lust for. It was, at the time the most technologically advanced smartphone to date running on the latest and greatest from Android the 2.1 Eclair. Since the success of the HTC Desire the Taiwan based firm has since produced a line of Desires that caters to the mid to high range markets. The Desire line was not heard of any more since Samsung becomes the top dog of the Android world.
Now though HTC seems to be hinting a Desire come back. The firm was actually talking about its emphasised focus on the mid range market in the year of 2014. Within that HTC also mentioned about “entry-level, Desire-Class” devices. From there we’re expecting the Desire name to resurface on mid-range HTC devices soon enough. So get ready for a whole new range of HTCs everyone, that is if you Desire to own one.
