HTC has been trying hard to revamp its mid range smartphone line up to make it more affordable and more compelling to a bigger market.
A new leak has pointed to the company’s new efforts in this particular platform. According to reports, HTC has quietly published and pulled the information of a new HTC Design 820 Mini in the works.
The Desire 820 is the HTC’s brand new mid tier phone but with better specs than all its predecessors. The design pulled by the company may be the company’s efforts to try to repackage the Desire 820 into a more affordable package.
The Mini would follow in some ways, follow the the Desire 820. If that’s so, the Mini would be sporting a 5-inch 720p display that runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. This would be complemented by 1GB of RAM. The device would feature a 5 megapixel front camera with an 8 megapixel as the back shooter. The 8 GB worth of RAM can be expandable via microSD.
