Hewlett Packard (HP) has announced and unveiled the MB Chronowing. The MB Chronowing is the result of a partnership between HP and Michael Bastian.
The MB Chronowing is a silver plated watch which is water resistant up to 165 feet in water. The watch comes with a variant of leather, nylon and rubber bands. It costs USD$349 (MYR1170).
There is a more expensive variant which comes in black with sapphire glass. It comes with an alligator band and is available for USD$649 (MYR2170).
The MB Chronowing is available through Glit.com and the retailer alleges that the watch’s battery will last a whole week. The device is compatible with Android 4.3 KitKat onward and iOS. The watch also features e-mail/text delivery, calendar and appointment syncing, and the ability to control your phone’s music player and adjust volume.
The MB Chronowing really is the only smartwatch that actually looks like a real watch. It might be the first device to give consumers a luxurious experience. We’ll see how this watch fairs against all the other competitors as it just was released on the 7th of November.
