Google’s Project Zero security division has unveiled two security weaknesses in the OX Y by Apple. The vulnerabilities let hackers take control of user’s Mac.
The security unit did notify the Cupertino tech giant back last year in October. Without any response, the unit has however, gone ahead and publish the details of the security holes as the 90 day cut off period passed.
Apple has yet to release an official comment as per its policy but iMore has reported that an upcoming Yosemite update known as 10.10.2 is in the works to address the issues. Apple needs to work fast however, before this becomes a big issue for all Mac users.
