Google I/O is just around the corner, in fact it is later this week. There are plenty of reports pointing to the possible announcement and release of the new Google Nexus 8 and Nexus 9 tablets. From reports as well, it looks like these would be the last Nexus devices we might see as Google may want to make way for the Android Silver project. Among all things we have heard and read of, one device has been avoiding the radar – the Google Nexus 6. There really is not much known for the reportedly upcoming Google Nexus phone. It was reported as well that the Nexus 6 may not exist at all, as in Google never planned to make it in the first place.
There is now a new rumour regarding the Google Nexus 6, but it doesn’t confirm or deny the existence of the device so it is still hard to say. Now with all Google Nexus devices, there is always another firm involved in the manufacturing of the device. For the Google Nexus 6 we don’t yet know which manufacturer will manufacture it. We know that Google have been awarding the manufacturing to LG for the past two Google Nexus phones. It seems this time they might also stick to LG and base the Google Nexus 6 on the LG G3. There are no other details on the upcoming Google phone except for the rumour that it will sport a 5.5-inches screen. Few manufacturers actually produce phones with screens at that size. There still is not enough information to neither confirm nor deny the existence of Google Nexus 6 or its chances of making appearance at Google I/O. We at techENT though hopes for the last hurrah of the great Nexus phone to be great it they decide to push it.
