In a few months time, Google plans on making its version of its popular apps design specially for kids at the age of 12 years and below. The push of the new kids apps will start with Google Search, YouTube and Chrome. These three apps are the most used apps that could expand in different areas.
Google’s Vice President that is in charge of this new intention, Pavni Diwanji said that, “The big motivator inside the company is everyone is having kids, so there’s a push to change our products to be fun and safe for children.” Although most children are using Chrome and YouTube in their everyday life’s, this could be considered as a controversy that the company decision is to target children.
However, the kid-focused apps would give parents more observation and restriction which makes it easier to create content online slightly than just consuming it.
