Google I/O is set to launch just a few hours away and anticipations keep rising. Plenty of expectations, plenty of hypes and plenty of excitement are surrounding the event. One more thing that is set to take on the stage in Google I/O is the TV-centred Android. The reveal though may showcase more than just software. As with Google plenty of its manufacturing partners may design their own hardware built around the software. So we may see big brand manufacturers making the Android TV set-boxes around although the manufacturers are yet to be named. We would see current Android phones being utilised as the controller to the Android TV set too, according to reports.
The focus content of this TV-focused software though is not the movies or video streaming. Rather it is said to be video games. With the current popularity of games on larger screens it does make sense for Google to be wanting an action on the piece. This Android TV set also reminded us of the first ever Android based console that is meant purely for gaming, Ouya. Reports suggests that one variant of the Android TV set-box will be powered by an NVidia Tegra 4 processor while others run on Intel processors.
