Google Apps just received its 4.1 version update and with this, comes an array of brand new Google now cards and certain changes. Sadly, the update has messed up some Google Now features for users in a few locations. It has disabled Google Now and displays the service as not available in that particular country.
Other reports claim that with the 4.1 version update, Google Now cards are no longer working. The issues with the update seem to be focused in the Latin and South American countries. Negative reviews have been flooding Play Store as no explanation being given as to why this is happening and how to fix it.
XDA user, kevindoez has helped the Spanish speakers though. By switching the language setting to “Spanish (United States)”, the Google Apps features that were previously missing due to the update seems to be back online. Google has been quiet on the issue.
