Get The New Apple iPad Air 2 Leaks Galore!
With Apple’s event fast approaching, it’s important to get up to date with the latest leaks surrounding its gadgets. This time around, we want to fill you in on the Apple iPad Air 2!
According to Digitimes, Apple’s supply chain partners have ramped up production for components to be used the company’s upcoming second-generation iPad Air. It seems that size and resolution will be the same as seen in its predecessor. However, the iPad 2 will feature a thinner profile, a faster processor and an improved Touch ID fingerprint sensor as well as anti-reflective coating for its display. In addition, we might just see the new A8 chip integrated in the device. Apple has also called on touch panel suppliers TPK and GIS to manufacture full-lamination units for the device ahead of its launch this fall.
A report from Taiwan’s TechNews is also claiming that the second generation iPad Air could see a memory bump to 2 GB from the previous I GB. The increase in RAM might be necessary for Apple’s rumored split-screen multitasking feature that allows you to run two different apps at the same time.
Above you will see leaked images of the internal hardware for the iPad Air 2. Courtesy of iPhonote, we get a look at allegedly the GPS cabling for the iPad Air 2, the Wi-Fi cable and a possible microphone part that has an Apple logo on it.
We’re hoping to see the iPad Air 2 launched next month!
