The Samsung Gear 2 touted many features when it first launched including voice typing. However, that may not have been as popular as Samsung wanted – many users would rather just type their messages out. In comes, Fleksy to save the day. The popular third party android keyboard developer has built a Fleksy Messaging App for the Samsung Gear 2.
The new application will replace the stock Samsung messaging application on the Gear 2 and will integrate with the Gear’s OS seamlessly. The app combines simplicity with the company’s own predictive typing technology. Fleksy learns how you type by scanning through your devices and learning how and when you use words, allowing you to get accurate predictions, speeding up your typing. Unfortunately, Fleksy won’t be bringing its swipe-to-type option as a result of the Gear 2’s tiny display meaning that you’ll have to tap around your screen.
If you want to try out the keyboard, head on over to the Google Play store and you’ll be able to download the Fleksy keyboard for USD$ 3.99 (RM 13.00).
