Motorola’s foray into the Android Wear space missed the much anticipated launch of the platform at Google I/O, much to the dismay of the participants there. However, it seems that Motorola wants to remind us that the Moto 360 is indeed under way and is primed for launch later this summer. The device is unlike other competitors in the market coming with the round watch face which everyone seems mesmerized by and also rumoured to be coming with Motorola’s Moto Maker support. The device is expected to be very customisable even giving choices between steel or leather straps, undoubtedly with more to come.
The Moto 360 is expected to launch along side the follow up to Motorola’s flagship Moto X, the Moto X+1, which was leaked on the manufacturer’s MotoMaker website a few months back. With summer moving along and drawing to a close, we can expect Motorola to announce the device at any time between now and September; hopefully sooner than later.
