Which Devices Are Getting Android L?
Android L is on the way! Or should I say Android Lollipop? Aren’t you curious to know if your device is receiving this update when its rolls out? Well, courtesy of Android Authority, now you can! The website complied a master list of all the gadgets that will be getting this Android L update.
HTC will be receiving the update 90 days after the launch of the OS. The devices from HTC getting the update are HTC One (M8), HTC One (M7), One Mini 2, One Mini, One E8, One Max, Butterfly s, Desire 816 and Desire 610.
From LG, we have the G3 and G2. However, keep in mind that these two devices are rumored to be getting the Android L update. LG has yet to confirm the information.
Moto X (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G (1st and 2nd Gen), Moto G with 4G LTE, Moto E and Droid Ultra as well as Droid Mini and Droid Maxx will be receiving the Android L update. OnePlus One has been confirmed as well.
In addition, Google has confirmed that its headsets and tablets all the way back to Nexus 4 will be receiving Lollipop. By November 3rd, the Nexus 4, 5, 7 (WiFi & LTE), and Nexus 10 as well as the Nexus 6 and 9 should be able to be updated to the latest OS. Google has also guaranteed that the Android One Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1 and Spice Dream Uno will be in the list of devices receiving the OS update.
Samsung has only hinted that the Galaxy S5 is ready to get the Android L update. Sony however, has confirmed that the list of headsets below will be receiving the update:
