Dell has been really upping their game when it comes to consumer hardware and has been keeping an even keener eye on their gaming segment – Alienware. Just recently, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019, the company unveiled a new design approach which returns the gaming series to its glory with their Area 51 laptop. The distinctive new “Legend” design language which debuted with the Area 51 laptop is now making its way to the newer versions of their signature gaming series – the Alienware M.
Alienware laptops were arguably one of the most iconic gaming laptops when they first launched way back when. Alienware Gaming Headsets
Together with the new Alienware m15 and m17, Dell also introduced two new headsets for gamers. Both of these headsets adopt the new Legend industrial design and carry the Alienware DNA.
The Alienware 7.1 Gaming Headset brings immersive 7.1 surround sound to the gaming experience. With the headset’s custom tuned 50mm 20Hz to 40KHz drivers, the experience is touted as one of the most immersive gaming experiences available. The custom designed acoustic chambers also lend to the immersive audio experience. Wearing the this headset should be pretty comfortable with the cushioned headband and also the hybrid memory foam, sport fabric and leatherette design of the ear cups. The Alienware 7.1 Gaming headsets come with 3.5mm connectivity as well as USB connectivity for better compatibility even on gaming consoles.
Also joining the party is the Alienware Stereo Gaming headset which comes with most of the bells and whistles of the 7.1 without the USB connection. The lack of the USB connection restricts the sound to only stereo sound. However, the compromise is also to achieve a more affordable price point.
