[Computex 2018] ASUS Lands Wonder Woman as Ambassador
Gal Gadot is a name that strikes all the right notes among all demographics. The actress who plays Wonder Woman, has hit all the right notes since coming into the spotlight in her debut role in The Fast and The Furious franchise. Her latest role in Wonder Woman made her even more notable as the first ever female superhero in her own movie as well as a member of the iconic DC trinity.
Having taken the spotlight as well as the hearts of many fans, it comes as no surprise that a notable brand such as ASUS has taken notice. The brand took to the Computex stage to announce that Gadot will be the face of their computing line up for the foreseeable future.
The announcement was made on the heels of the launch of their new additions to the Zenbook, Vivobook and All-in-One lineups at Computex. The new additions to their flagship ZenBook series, the ZenBook Pro 15 and 14, are the first devices which Gal Gadot will have a hand in promoting.
“Gal is a role model for people around the world – staying true to herself as she achieves international success. Like Gal, we believe everyone can pursue their own incredible. It just takes the right technology to unleash one’s creative power. With that in mind, we can think of no better person to work with on our own search for incredible.”
Eric Chen, Corporate Vice President, ASUS
Befitting her calibre, the ZenBook Pro series is also one of the most innovative series of laptops under ASUS. It features an industry first with its integrated ScreenPad which acts both as a trackpad and an integrated second screen.
As the face of the new ZenBook series, ASUS hopes that Gal Gadot will impress upon their fans that tech isn’t daunting. Instead, it empowers the creativity that is inside.
“People used to think you had to be super techy or geeky to get the most out of technology, but the truth is everyone can use technology to create…”
