ZTE is one brand that would not want to miss out on the action in the CES 2015. This year they revealed two devices, both of which are not smartphones but still pretty interesting anyway. What they have revealed instead are a tablet and a portable projector device.
First up is the ZTE Grand X Max+. It is meant to be a budget tablet to be available in the United States from 9th of January onwards. There are no mentions on what kind of processor or the speed of it but we know that it will be paired up with a 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of built in storage but expandable to 32GB via MicroSD card. It will also find a 13-Megapixel camera on its back, Dolby Audio, and 3,200mAh battery fitted in it. For a tablet it does sound very moderate but for the price its offering at USD199.99 (MYR712.54) without contract it does not look too bad after all.
Another device being revealed in the CES 2015 by ZTE is a portable projector running on Android. It is called the S Pro 2 and actually looks interesting. On the projection front you get a 120-inches projection image at 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution and it has a brightness of 200 Lumens. The interesting bit is that it runs on actual Android. What you can do with that is you can stream contents directly from the Google Play Store. If you do not want to do just that they offer options to stream from their own MicroSD card or HDMI port. That is not all though, you can connect to up to 8 devices at one go with this device via 4G LTE. It packs a 6,300 mAh battery and is quoted a 3 hours battery life with continuous streaming. There are no mentions of pricing for this item yet.
Both items should be headed to the United States soon enough with the Grand X Max+ confirmed on the 9th of this month. There are however no mentions on whether they are coming to Malaysia or not let alone their pricing. Be sure though that we will keep you posted.
