The Acer Nitro 5 for 2020 is finally revealed on the big stage of Next@Acer! The new Acer Nitro 5 is Acer’s latest budget friendly gaming PC that packs plenty of punch with AMD’s Ryzen 7-4800H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650Ti graphics. This time, you get up to 32GB of RAM as well. This thing is one powerhouse on a string.

The Nitro 5 for 2020 is Acer’s answer to the likes of ASUS TUF gaming notebook PCs and even Dell Gaming PCs. It strikes a balance between gaming performance and budget. Next@Acer brought us the new Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel notebook PC for the creative professionals constantly on the move. This thing packs a punch with up to an Intel Core i7-10750H 10th generation Intel processor and up to an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 (ConceptD 3 Pro Ezel).

At weight starting from 1.68kg, the super flexible platform comes with either a 14-inch or 15.6-inch display that tilts around and moves as you move. With an integrated stylus, you can draw on the Pantone validated display and get accurate colours. Who says creative professionals just sit on their desks all day?

HUAWEI MatePad Pro Hands On

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro was announced globally in Barcelona back in February. The new MatePad Pro was touted as a revolutionary new productivity device empowered by 5G thanks to the HiSilicon Kirin 990 processor inside. Yesterday, the new productivity centered tablet got its debut in Malaysia!

The new MatePad Pro will be available starting 3 April, 2020 for pre-order until 10 April, 2020. It will be available in Midnight Grey and Pearl White. However, Malaysia will only be getting the WiFi version of the MatePad Pro which will come with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. The device will cost MYR2,399 and will be shipped starting 11 April, 2020.

Pre-orders of the MatePad Pro will come with about MYR1,000 worth of freebies. This includes the Smart Magnetic Keyboard (worth MYR499), the HUAWEI M-Pencil (worth MYR299), 3 months free access to WPS Office, 50GB of HUAWEI Cloud Storage and 3 months premium access to HUAWEI video.

Aside from that, the MatePad Pro comes with a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display. It has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. All of this is powered by 7,250 mAh battery which supports wireless fast charging at 27W and reverse wireless charging at 7.5W. It can also be fast charged at 40W when plugged in.

Unboxing The Samsung Galaxy A71

The Samsung Galaxy A71 is the highest spec’d phone Samsung has to offer in its Galaxy A Series. Marketed as the phone that does it all with its awesome Super AMOLED Plus screen, quad camera, and long battery life.

The Galaxy A71 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Octa-core processor giving you all the power you need to game and do heavy tasks on the phone. Paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Wait, did I mention that the quad-camera set up on Galaxy A71 comes with a 64-megapixels wide sensor, 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For the selfie camera, it has a 32-megapixel wide sensor. It’s battery is a non-removable, 4,500mAh Li-Po battery.

Best part? It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack! It’s available in in three colours of Prism Crush Silver, Prism Crush Black, and Prism Crush Blue. The prices of the Galaxy A71 start at MYR 1,799.

The midrange smartphone is looking to make it’s way to the U.S. in the near future with a 5G variant. The A71 will be joining a slew of devices under the Galaxy A series which will be making its way to U.S. for the first time since it’s launch. The Galaxy A51, A01, A50, A20 and A10e have already made their way to the U.S. and are available on contract or unlocked.

OPPO recently just launched a new mid-range contender for the price of MYR 1,199. The new OPPO A92 packs Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 665 SoC supported by 8GB of RAM. You get 128GB of storage with the package. The 5,000mAh battery is quoted to last a whole working day and more. It even makes a good secondary device to have because it can charge your main device in case you need the juice.

[Video] techENT Download || Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, realme launches, DJI Mavic Air and More!

In this week’s techENT Download weekly round-up we had a crazy time disseminating pieces of mid-range smartphone launches. One of the most anticipated one is Xiaomi finally revealing their Redmi Note 9 series packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G System on a Chip (SoC).

The Xiaomi Redmi device is not yet reaching the local shores though. Meanwhile realme updates their realme 6 line-up with a variant packing 8GB RAM and 128GB in storage. Just a little while later, they revealed that the realme 6 Pro is also coming to market.

On a different segment though, DJI launched a successor to the very successful and very loved DJI Mavic Air. They launched the new DJI Mavic Air 2 which looks like a squished down version of a DJI Mavic Pro drone. Still, it comes with a bigger sensor that also records at 4K resolution at 60 fps. All this while being cleverer and with a range of 10km and longer flight time on a single charge.
