Honor is prepared to take its thinnest foldable smartphone, the Magic V2, global with an announcement coming up at IFA in Berlin. On September 1, 2023, at 10 am CEST, we can expect Honor Magic V2 to make its global availability known. However, it seems like there may be another smartphone in the works for the announcement as well. It’s rumoured that Honor may announce a second flip-style foldable during the event as well. There’s also a teaser on the website’s announcement of the IFA 2023 Keynote with a mathematical formula.
The Honor Magic V2 debuted earlier this year in July exclusively in China. It stunned with its 4.8mm thickness when unfolded and 9.9mm thickness when folded. It’s also not shying away from being a full-fledged flagship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, dual 50-megapixel sensors and a 20-megapixel telephoto sensor on the back and a 16-megapixel sensor for the selfie camera. Together with this, the Magic V2 comes with a large 7.92-inch inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a large 5,000 mAh battery.
With the increasing number of choices for foldable smartphones increasing this year, it’s going to be very interesting to see how brands continue to edge each other out with design and software. Honor is currently one of three brands with a globally available flagship large-screen, foldable device. If rumours are any indication, the space is about to exponentially more competitive with brands like vivo and OnePlus joining the foray.

The service will be available within the foodpanda app starting today. Users simply have to select the “pandago” tab and it will automatically bring you to the delivery service page. The service will be available 24/7 on-demand so it’ll be perfect for sending that birthday surprise at the stroke of midnight or even those pesky last-minute documents in a rush.
The pandago service comes with real-time tracking for easy tracking of your deliveries. The tracking will provide real-time delivery status updates while allowing customers to chat with the delivery partner to update their status.
While it may seem like a totally new service out of the blue, the pandago service has been operating since 2021. However, it was only available to business customers looking for a logistics-as-a-service (LaaS) partner. Pandago provided this service without the need for onboarding fees or commission fees and helped keep business costs at a minimum with a pay-as-you-use model.

The announcement comes on the heels of Astro’s big content showcase where the company showcased their upcoming content and new collaborations in a two-hour spectacular show that was live-streamed on YouTube and on Astro’s Gempak channel. The showcase was directed by renowned Malaysian thespian, Puan Sri Tiara Jaquelina.
Hisense is no stranger to TVs or appliances. The company has built a name for itself creating some of the most affordable and feature-packed TVs available in the market. It’s looking to keep its performance up with two new offerings coming later this month – the new Hisense U7K ULED Mini LED TV and the Hisense U6K ULED VIDAA TV.

As the name suggests, the U7K ULED comes with Mini LED technology and has a 4K resolution. It also comes with over 1,200 local dimming zones. It’s even got Dolby Atmos certification for immersive sound. According to the information Hisense provided, the U7K ULED also comes with 3D technology. We’re not sure if that means that we’re seeing the return of 3D TVs at home but hey… it’s something new. The U7K ULED will be available in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 85 inches.
The Hisense U6K ULED VIDAA TV, on the other hand, comes with full array local dimming technology and quantum dot colour technology. This allows the TV to have lifelike, vibrant colours for stunning, immersive visuals. It’s also got Dolby Atmos for a truly immersive cinematic experience. The U6K ULED will be available in sizes ranging from 55 inches to 75 inches.
Both TVs are going on pre-order ahead of the official launch which is undoubtedly coming soon. During the pre-order period, orders for the U7K and U6K will come with up to MYR3,000 off its retail pricing and a complimentary gaming console. DJI’s foray into action cameras is getting a much-needed boost when it comes to footage quality and versatility. The newly launched DJI Osmo Action 4 brings a whole slew of features that make the footage more versatile, easier to edit and even brings you longer battery life for you to shoot for longer durations.
The Osmo Action 4 is getting a major update with a 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor. The larger sensor also comes with a wide f/2.8 aperture and a 2.4μm-equivalent pixel size. It’s now able to shoot in 4K resolution and up to 120 fps. Of course, the resolution for shooting at 120fps is locked at 1080p. The lens is also an ultrawide lens with a 155° field of view. The new sensor also brings along with a jump in footage quality particularly in low-light conditions.
The hardware improvements are complemented by new shooting modes including 360°HorizonSteady stabilisation modes, including RockSteady 3.0/3.0+ for FPV footage and HorizonBalancing or HorizonSteady for horizontal shots. This is enhanced by the ability to shoot in 10-bit D-Log M which preserves the colours of footage shot in true-to-life form. This also enables more advanced colour grading and editing.
The DJI Osmo Action 4 also comes with an improved battery which is able to deliver consistent battery life even in extreme conditions. The battery typically is able to deliver 2.5 hours of active use on a single charge. Thanks to its support for fast charging, it can be topped up to 80% charged in just 18 minutes. However, more importantly, the DJI Osmo Action 4’s battery is built to withstand extreme conditions; in this case, it’s built to deliver up to 150 minutes of battery life on a single charge at temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F).
