Canon is making getting genuine toner cartridges by rewarding customers who do. The company has launched its “Be Original: Genuine Toner Loyalty Program” in Malaysia which will be happening from 1 October, 2020 until 31 December 2020. Throughout this program, customers will be rewarded with 1000 points with every purchased of a genuine Canon toner. These points can be redeemed as MYR10 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit or other goodies such as a Canon mini projector, printers and more. This campaign comes at a time when the demand for toner cartridges are increasing due to the increase of remote work arrangements brought on by the current global pandemic.
People often forget the importance of a genuine toner which sometimes come with an additional price to pay. Third party cartridges and toners can accumulate on the drum and the fixing roller, resulting in printouts with unsightly lines, blurring or gray backgrounds. What’s more, it can lead to irreparable damage to your printer.

Identifying a genuine Canon cartridge is easy; the Canon Genuine Security Label can be found on the exterior of Canon genuine toner cartridge boxes. All you have to do to redeem your points and rewards is scratch the label, scan the disclosed QR code with a smartphone. The QR Code will lead you to the Your Live With Canon website for verification. Once verified, you will be rewarded the 1000 points.
Of course, to take part in the campaign on the Your Life with Canon page, you will first have to register as a member. After this, you will be rewarded everytime you key in the toner serial number. Submissions and redemption end on 7 January, 2021. Once you confirmed the redemption request, the merchandise will then be delivered to the registered address within a month. As long as the customers have sufficient points, there is no limit for redemption.
It is completely fair and not overstating to say that the Google Assistant has become one of the Google’s most important products. While people are still fantasizing of contact-less computing experience, which is still not realized by most people, Google Assistant has already worked its way into the society through variety of products like the Google Home and Chromecast. Google has added several new features to the Assistant this year, making it better and more helpful to users. The virtual assistant is now gaining the ability to open up, search, and perform general tasks across your favorite apps. As long as you have an Android phone that is Assistant-enabled, you will be able to open and search within Android apps just by calling; “Hey Google,” or “Okay Google.”

The new integration will allow you to do things that need several taps in the apps themselves. For instance, apps like Nike Run Club can be easily accessed without needing users physical input. This can be huge time saver.
For all the apps that support Google Assistant, you can simply create a shortcut phrases for it and it will perform whatever preset actions for you. Nike’s Adapt training shoes could be a great example. Through Google Assistant, could create a preset action command and get your shoes to automatically tighten itself on your feet. The new usefulness is a major advance towards Google offering a totally without hands processing experience. While Android 11 previously included some genuinely incredible voice control openness choices, this adds much greater usefulness to the Google Assistant.
Google says the Assistant will be able to work with more apps in the near future. Samsung is one of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer. They are larger than anyone else for a reason though. They never fail to amaze and surprise the likes of us, for example. One of the surprises that they came to is their new Galaxy F series launched on the 8th October.

Sony is poised to have a blowout with their upcoming PlayStation 5 release. However, eagle eyed users have spotted a concerning “feature” in the recent PlayStation 4 firmware update. Apparently, the PlayStation systems will be recording your in-game conversations. Users were alerted to this change when PS4 systems prompted users for permission to record them when installing the recent 8.0 firmware update.
The firmware update also brings some changes to the Messages app on PlayStation 4. This includes new avatars and support for two factor authentication. Of note, is the inclusion of parental communication controls which allow parents to better curate their child’s online gaming and messaging.
In a statement on the PlayStation Blog, Vice President of Global Consumer Experience, Catherine Jensen, apologised for the way the news broke. “PlayStation gamers learned about this new function in an unexpected way following the recent PS4 8.00 system update. We didn’t clearly communicate this feature or explain why we were introducing it, and we apologize for that.” She goes on to clarify that the feature will voice chats would not be monitored or listened to on the new system. Instead, the feature will record a 40 second voice clip that will be used for user moderation in an effort to curb harassment and bullying on the platform.
With cyberbullying and harassment on online games coming to the forefront in recent years, it is understandable why Sony wants to implement this feature. However, Sony’s measures are easily bypassed as gamers also use other apps and platforms such as Discord to facilitate online communication.
In her clarification, Jensen states, “if a PS5 player needs to file a harassment report, they will be able to include up to a 40 second-long Voice Chat clip in their report — 20 seconds of the main conversation with the other player, plus an additional 10 seconds before and after the conversation selection. Only the most recent five minutes of a Voice Chat will be available for a player to use for this reporting function.” That said, the function seems to be limited to the PS5 for now and users do not have the ability to disable it.
Sony also rebranded their PS4 remote play app to PS Remote Play on the Google Play Store and Apple AppStore. Users will be able to use the app to remotely play games on your PS5 system when it launches later this year.

They are launching the new feature with a collaboration with Justin Beiber featuring an exclusive track from his new album. Beliebers everywhere are undoubtedly celebrating the shocking revelation. For now, Snapchat is the only platform to hear the vocals for his new songs “lonely” featuring Benny Blanco before it is available on October 16, 2020 at 12pm.
The music can be added to Snaps either pre- or post-capture, then shared without any limitations. You can post it to your Story or share directly with friends, as you choose. At launch, the Snapchat music catalog offers “millions” of licensed songs from Snap’s music industry partners, the company says.

When users receive a Snap with Sounds, they can then swipe up to view the album art, the song title and the name of the artist. There’s also a “Play This Song” link that lets you listen to the full song on your preferred streaming platform, including Spotify, Apple Music and SoundCloud. Snapchat is also testing out recording with your own covers with “Sounds” which should be rolling out in the coming months. The move to introduce a music feature is meant to counter the growing threat of ByteDance owned, TikTok app, which has popularized short-form video sharing with posts set to music from a large catalog.
According to a research, In the U.S., Snapchat now reaches 90% of all 13 to 24-year-olds, which the company notes is more than Facebook, Instagram and Messenger combined. It also reaches 75% of all 13 to 34-year-olds and, on average, more than 4 billion Snaps are created every day.
It looks like this era of the war between the Terrans, Zerg and Protoss is coming to an end. Blizzard has announced on October 15, 2020 that support for StarCraft II will be ceasing – at least when it comes to new content. The news comes after the popular real-time strategy game celebrated it’s 10th anniversary earlier this year.
“What this means is that we’re not going to be producing additional for-purchase content, such as Commanders and War Chests, but we will continue doing season rolls and necessary balance fixes moving forward.” said by executive producer Rob Bridenbecker. Also the Blizzard Entertainment is looking forward to what is next for “the StarCraft universe as a whole”.
StarCraft II players need not fret as the game will remain playable. Blizzard will also be supporting the game when it comes to patches and technical support. Of course, being Blizzard, we definitely know the adventures of Kerrigan and Raynor are possibly coming back soon with another installment of StarCraft.
This change comes at the same time with Blizzard is working on Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, neither of which have release dates or even release windows. The staff is said to be giving lot of attention and aiming for a better work conditions.

It weighs only 1.2kg and is able to take on a payload of 3kg in total. While that is a little less than the DJI RS 2, it also lasts about 12 hours. There is also quick charge built-into the handle itself. This gimbal is perfect for mirrorless cameras.

Samsung is no stranger to touchscreen issues with reports having surfaced for their past models including the Galaxy Note 9. But, after the lackluster performance of one of their biggest flagships with the S20 series, you’d think that they would have ironed out the issues when it comes to the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE). The Galaxy S20 FE is Samsung’s effort in making their flagships more affordable and bringing the fight to devices such as the Pixel 5 and the OnePlus Nord.
While it seems like the new Galaxy S20 FE budget flagship might be Samsung’s magic pony, reports have surfaced that its well priced Full HD+, 120Hz screen has been a pain for some users. The reports highlight issues with the accuracy of the touch input on the touchscreen. The reports aren’t an isolated issue as they are now trending on Reddit and Samsung’s own Community forums.

In addition, users are also reporting issues with input lag, keyboard failure, poor input response and even jittery scrolling on the Galaxy S20 FE touchscreen. Some users are also reporting issues regarding the screen being overtly sensitive and registering taps as swipes. Guess what? Some of them have had to reboot the phone in order to get the touchscreen working again.
Considering the phone only went on sale recently, we can’t be sure that the issue isn’t a few isolated cases. However, issues like these will still irritate users. However, the prevalence of the issue is worrying with more reports surfacing since the initial reports. We can only hope that the issue isn’t one with the panel itself and Samsung rolls out a software patch to fix it soon. Samsung has yet to respond since the initial report.

The Iskur is said to have a unique external lumbar support system whose 26-degree customization is meant to improve your posture while gaming or even working. The main focus is to alleviate the middle tension to achieve a neutral spine position to provide minimum burden for your spine. Important when you game for long hours, or when you are sitting down to get your work done all day long of course.

It’s made from multi-layered synthetic leather and the rear back cushion is made from high density foam cushion. The Iskur’s jut-out-at-an-angle lumbar pad which look like a snake belly is quite one of the highlight of Razer signature. A memory foam head cushion is also included to keep you at the optimum posture.
Whichever way you look at it, the Razer Iskur does look very similar to the Secret Lab’s very own Omega and Titan. That may not necessarily be a bad thing though. The Secret Lab Omega and Titan are very highly acclaimed gaming chairs, regarded to be the best in the business. Razer denies that the Iskur is anything like the Secret Lab chairs though.
