Blackberry’s Android Phone to be Available in Variations
According to recent rumors, Blackberry has an Android smartphone known as Venice in the works. Reports are stating that if Venice gets released, it would be somewhere at the end of the year, likely November. An update just came in that there won’t be one Android phone from Blackberry, there is going to be a line up.
Blackberry is supposedly in the collaboration with Winstron as well as Compal Electronics in terms of production. This is an added relationship to that with Foxconn. It seems all three companies are to assist Blackberry for production, research and development, channel distribution as well as marketing.
Rumors has also surfaced regarding new domain names – AndroidSecured.net and AndroidSecurded.com. We can only speculate that this further shows that Blackberry is ready to enter the Android industry and security is their number one priority. Let’s us just hope that none of the Android smartphones come in the size of the Passport.
