Once again, Blackberry is partnering with Porsche Design to produce a high end smartphone. This is not the first time the two have collaborated as their first product was launched just last year in November.
This time around the duo are looking to produce the lackBerry Porsche Design P’9983. Lucky for us, N4BB managed to get their hands on a handful of leaked images of the device. The photos show that the company is reverting back to the QWERTY keyboard after trying its hand at the touchscreen display for the previous P’9982 last year.
However, the latest P’9983 will still sport a 3.5 inch touchscreen display along with the keyboard. It will also be equipped with 3 GB of RAM as well as 64 GB of storage. The device will run on a dual-core 1.7GHz processor and BlackBerry 10.3.
According to the design in the images, the gadget will likely be made of black matte plastic in the front. A metal band will be wrapped around the edges and we’re expecting some high end material such as stainless steel or leather to be present due to the pricey tag it has.
We’re not sure how much exactly the P’9983 will cost but we’re looking at about $2000. The gadget should be launched somewhere this fall.
