BlackBerry Brings Amazon to Work On Their Apps Store
BlackBerry recently announced that they would be partnering with Amazon to work on their Apps Store. What this partnership would be doing is basically bringing Amazon’s version of the Android Appstore to BlackBerry devices. This is actually a smart move on the part of BlackBerry for it seems that BlackBerry’s Apps Store is not developing at all and it looks like they could use some help in getting more apps on their devices. The Amazon Appstore on the other hand has been a big success since its introduction. The Amazon Appstore is currently housing over 240,000 suite of applications. The number is not final though, it is still growing. With the availability of the store in over 200 countries, it makes sense for BlackBerry to work with Amazon to bring more apps into their ecosystem. Amazon’s Appstore will come with BlackBerry 10.3 in a few months time.
