Via its official blog, American telco AT&T has announced that it has started releasing the Windows Phone 8.1 update for the ATIV S Neo.
The ATIV S Neo currently features Windows Phone 8 and sports a 4.8 inch HD LCD display that runs on a 1.4GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor mated with 1GB of RAM. In addition, it has 16GB worth of internal storage as well as an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording. The ATIV S Neo also has a 1.2 megapixel front shooter and is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
The Windows Phone 8.1 will bring performance improvements and features such as Action Centre, Cortana, Internet Explorer 11, Word Flow keyboard, Start Screen personalisation options, extra column of Live Tiles, a file manager, and so on. However, the roll out by AT&T is a little late since Microsoft had released Windows Phone 8.1 update in the final form to developers in April 2014, and it reached general availability by July 2014.
Right now there isn’t any official change log but users can manually update their ATIV S Neo by going to the Settings menu and clicking on Phone Update.
