ASUS will allegedly be launching not one but two variants of the ASUS Zenfone 2. The original 5.5 inch phablet will be accompanied by a smaller 5 inch version when it gets released into the market this month.
The rumors comes from Sogi which is a Chinese website. According to the claim, the 5 inch variant will not be sporting the exact same specs at its larger counterpart. The smartphone will not have 4GB worth of RAM, instead it might just have 3GB RAM under its hood. This of course, would indicate that the price would be lower as well. However, little evidence has been presented to support the claim.
The 5.5 inch Zenfone 2 features a 1080 display that is powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom processor. Running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, the device is powered by a 3000 mAh battery and sports a 5 megapixel camera on its front as well as a 13 megapixel shooter mounted on its back.
