ASUS Teases the ZenWatch
Android Wear seems to be ushering in a slew of wearable devices from many of the mobile manufacturers and ASUS is not one to lay back and wait. According to the Central News Agency, ASUS is set to reveal their entry into the wearables arena, the ZenWatch which will allegedly be retailing at less than USD$ 199 (RM 635). However, before you start rejoicing, the ZenWatch will see a limited release later this October according to the Central News Agency. Further, the device will apparently be sporting some additional Android Wear features including a few more voice commands compared to the standard ones already available in current Android wear devices.
ASUS has also been quite coy in teasing the ZenWatch which it says will debut at IFA in Berlin, if not the day before. The price point of the ASUS ZenWatch makes a formidable entry into the wearables arena competing directly with the likes of the Samsung Gear Live, the LG G Watch and the Motorola Moto 360. Not much else is known about the device, but if the teaser video that ASUS has uploaded is anything to go by, the device looks to be a really good looking one. However, as to performance, we’ll have to wait and see with IFA starting in hours.
