With IFA around the corner, it seems that we are getting more leaks of a whole load of devices. One of the more interesting leaks that we’ve come across is one relating to ASUS.
Recent benchmarks on GFXBench has brought two devices: the ASUS K01B and the ASUS K01E. The first device, the K01B, looks to be sporting a 10-inch and 14.2-inch screen – both with 1920×1200 resolution. It seems to be a dual screen setup with a Qualcomm S4 Pro Quad Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The cameras on the other hand, are a disappointing 5.0-MegaPixel shooter with a 1.5-MegaPixel front facing camera.
It is speculated that this tablet may be an new entry of the ASUS Transformer Pad line of devices and may work with a keyboard. Though, if the benchmark is anything to go by, it may be a device that may sport a dual screen setup similar to the Nintendo 3DS.
The ASUS K01E comes with a 9.4-inch 1280×800 screen and runs on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro clocked at 1.5 GHz with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. However, the 2.0-MegaPixel shooter and 0.5-MegaPixel front facing camera leaves a lot to be desired. The tablet may be an entry into the MeMo Pad line of devices.
Both tablets are touting Android 4.4.2 KitKat. However, there is little more known information around the devices but IFA is just days away, we’ll have quite a short wait to see what ASUS has in store during the event.
