Apple Watch Begin Mass Production with Smaller Screen?
According to reports by AppleDaily, Apple is finalizing details on the Apple Watch and is preparing for mass production to begin as early as January next year. Apple is supposedly working with its long time manufacturing partner Quanta in the production of the device. Quanta beat out competitors such as Inventec that were vying for the opportunity to manufacture the Apple Watch.
Apple has boasted that the Apple Watch is unlike any other device ever seen with cutting edge sensor and haptic feedback technologies. With its complexity it’s no surprise the company has chosen to work with just one manufacturer this time around. The Apple Watch is set to be available by Valentine’s Day 2015 with a price tag of USD$349 (RM1134) with several collections including 18-karat gold luxury options available at higher prices.
However, there is one very interesting part of news that we want to fill you in on. Apple has been caught editing its Apple Watch into video. The company has pulled the original launch video off YouTube and replaced it with a newly uploaded version. To the unobserving eye, you’d think it’s the exact same video but if you look closely, Apple has shrunk down the Apple Watch display. It has been shrunk in some places and the new video also shows some minor evidence of UI tweaks. Why don’t you be the judge and compare the videos? Above you have the original video and below you have the brand new one!
