According to 9to5Mac, Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and Online Stores has announced that the anticipated Apple Watch will be launching in Spring 2015. This is little more specific that Apple’s own “early next year” comment.
Apple is looking to train its retail employees in mastering introducing customers to the wearable device. Apple outlets are planning to allow customers to try on the Apple Watch and basically choose among the variety of sizes and bands offered. This one on one time brought to customers via the Apple Watch is set to create a much more meaningful relationship the company has with its users.
This is great news as we were getting worried when reports surfaced that Apple would have been lucky to ship the Apple Watch by Valentine’s Day. After all the talks of delay due to software development issues, it’s nice to get some good news from the Apple executive on the reveal of the Apple Watch.
