Apple has announced that it will be having its fall event on October 16th 2014, Thursday. The Cupertino company is expected to unveil its new iPads, its new Retina iMacs and the OS X Yosemite.
The event is expected to be a little more low key that the September iPhone event. Instead of a beautiful hall like the Flint Center, Apple has booked the company’s Town Hall Auditorium.
The iPad Air and iPad Retina Mini are equipped with updated processors and Touch ID support. The iPad Air might also come in a gold variant – the color, not the material. It is expected to include a brand new anti-reflective laminated display.
On the other hand, the Retina iMac will feature a 5K resolution on a 27 inch display as well as AMD graphics. The device is expected to be equipped with a Haswell processor for now since the next-generation Broadwell processors for the iMac won’t be available till next year.
