With the unveiling of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, a lot of us have kept the upcoming iPad at the back of our mind but a new report from Digtimes might just bring it to the forefront.
According to reports, the Cupertino tech giant may have actually asked its rival, Samsung to provide the panels for two new iPads. Samsung surprisingly was in a generous mood and agreed to starting shipping panels for the 9.7 inch displays by the end of the year. This tallies with the measurements rumored to be for the iPad Air 2. In addition, Samsung may be providing Apple with larger 12.9 inch panels for the Apple iPad Pro.
The iPad Air will also be sporting a faster A8 or A8x processor, Touch ID and new iOS features while the Apple iPad Pro might just be launching next year or unveiled next month at the next Apple event!
