Apple Looking to Go Into Virtual Reality
Third party developers have been working on turning the iPads into something of an imitation to the Oculus virtual reality headsets. But it seems Apple has other plans. The company has looking to higher a virtual reality engineer as per the job listing spotted by Mashable.
The applicants are of course, required to have experience in the virtual reality and augmented reality development industry. If hired, the new employee will be working to create “high performance apps that integrate with virtual reality systems for prototyping and user testing.”
This is the next step to Apple’s mysterious patents regarding a virtual reality headset. The tech giant has been applying for such patents for the past eight years! Is this finally the big move into the virtual reality market for Apple? It might just be.
