The Apple iOS is a locked system, as in it is exclusive only to Apple devices and Apple will never allow users full control of the software. That lock is also reflected in Apple developed apps. One app that we always use and take for granted would be the Camera app. The camera app in other phones, especially the Lumia line of devices allow users plenty of freedom in adjusting settings of the camera; exposure, white balance, ISO, and plenty more. The camera in the Apple iOS however has never been that kind. All you are allowed to do in the Apple iOS camera app is to change the pre-set configuration based on situations and scenes you are in. It looks like Apple has soften up and opened up a little with the Apple iOS 8. It is reported that with the final build of Apple iOS 8 users would be given full control to adjust camera settings to their preference. This may translate to better photo qualities or worse depending on users. But hey it is good news.
