Apple brings New Music Service in February
Apple has plans to dusk the Beats Music brand for something different. Apparently, the company will hold on to its streaming capabilities but has expressed the desire to move their engineers off to a new project. It is possible that this is an entirely new idea of music app that maintains the human-curated playlist with unlimited subscription package.
Apple might try to time the launch of its new service with the Grammy Awards on February next year. The timing does make a bit of sense but remember it’s just a guess at this point. For starters, Apple has an icon for a yet un-launched application that appears on press materials for the Apple Watch. That device is due out sometime in early 2015 and probably will offer some sort of assimilation.
Beats Music is not going to shut down but there’s a possibility it may change its name. Apple CEO Tim Cook told PBS, Charlie Rose that he was so excited about the content inside Beats Music that it made him sleepless. If the engineering team of Apple is pulling off from Beats Music to build something better, we really want to know what the plans are for Beats and what is this mysterious new music app the engineers might be working on?
