More manufacturers are finally disclosing their plans to roll out the latest Android 5.0 or Lollipop for their selected devices.
Asus has announced on their ZenTalk forum that the Lollipop update is set to on their devices as early as April 2015. The mentioned devices include the ZenFones 4, 5 and 6. The new PadFone Infinity will also receive this update at the later date of June 2015. LG is another company that has gone official on their update plans, according to a post on their official German Facebook page. They expect the flagship LG G3 to be running Lollipop by the end of the year. LG also mentioned an update for the preceding LG G2 although no exact time frame was mentioned.
Motorola has done one better on its competitors in its effort to roll out the Android 5.0 update. They have set up a dedicated Lollipop tracker so users can track update plans for all Motorola devices, including the DROIDs. Motorola users can check out the tracker here.
Looks like it won’t be long till the rest of the smartphone manufacturers finally reveal their plans to bring us what is perhaps Android’s biggest update to date.
