AMD Ryzen to Power Vietnam’s No 1 i-cafe
AMD recently caused quite the uproar with it’s new Ryzen chipset which outperformed even the highest peforming chipset on the market at the time. One of the most telling signs that the company has revolutionised the microprocessor industry is the recent agreement with long time rival, Intel, to integrate their industry leading Ryzen graphic processors into the next generation of Intel CPUs.
That said, the company has also recently committed to supporting the growth of the eSports industry in Southeast Asia. As first step in this support, AMD has decided to equip Vietnam’s leading i-Cafe with their Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 chipsets. Cyzone i-Cafe will be getting a special price to equip their two outlets with over 800 with AMD Ryzen processors. The company also believes that this partnership will allow Cyzone the best performance and longevity for their 800 systems.
The partnership sees the global chip maker supporting one of the largest supporters of eSports in Vietnam. Cyzone itself is is actively involved the local gaming community in Vietnam and we’re recently crowned Vietnam’s champions at the Overwatch SEA tournament and represented Vietnam in the group stages at the World Cup 2017 Overwatch tournament in Sydney, Australia.
“The eSports arena across the world is on an uphill climb for the past few years, and this includes the ASEAN markets. With the emergence of countless gaming tournaments and platforms, the ASEAN eSports community has the potential to be one of the most promising in the world…AMD is committed to be a part of this growth. Bringing Ryzen CPUs into Cyzone I-Cafes is the first step of our commitment to nurture and cultivate eSports in our region.”

The partnership is undoubtedly a boon to Cyzone. AMD’s Ryzen platform propelled the once irrelevant company into the spotlight especially in the high performance CPUs. Along with the increased performance thanks to the new Zen architecture, the Ryzen CPUs are also eligible for the AM4 platform which gives it increased stability as well as upgradability until 2020.
