Design and aethetics while not the main feature we look at when buying our devices, definitely plays into our decision. Being recognised for their design prowess is one of the highest accolades that a company can take back when it comes to consumer products. The iF Product Design awards is conferred annually. The awards look to recognise the integrity of product design and its importance.
This year, Taiwanese computer manufacturer, Acer walks away with 12 iF Deisgn Awards. While the awards ceremony will only take place on March 9, it seems like the manufacturer has taken the lead in making its honors known. The iF Design Awards recognise a total of 68 categories of which Acer walks away with 12.
The wins are significant for the company as it is the first year in which the company’s gaming brand, Predator, is awarded a total of 6 awards. While the company and iF Internation Forum Design GmbH has yet to announce the categories which Acer won, the devices recognised are the Predator Orion 9000 Gaming Desktop, the Predator Triton 700 Gaming Notebook, the Predator X27 Gaming Monitor, The Predator X34P Gaming Monitor, PredatorSense™ Software, Predator Gaming Gadgets Packaging, the Acer Swift 7, the Acer Aspire S 24 All-in-One Desktop, Acer VG0 Gaming Monitor, the Acer Holo360, the Acer Vision360 in car camera and the Pawbo Wagtag Pet Tracker.
