LG Electronics Malaysia has expanded its lineup of home solutions with the launch of the new LG PuriCare ATOM-U Water Purifier. Designed to seamlessly integrate into modern kitchens, this appliance combines a space-saving undersink design with advanced filtration and smart technology. The launch coincides with LG’s rebranding of its rental service to LG Subscribe, providing a new way for Malaysians to access premium home technology.
The ATOM-U’s most notable feature is its minimalist undersink design, which keeps the main filtration unit hidden away to maximize countertop space. The slim unit can be installed flexibly, either horizontally or vertically, to fit various cabinet layouts. User interaction is centered around a sleek, 180-degree rotating faucet, making it convenient to fill pots and bottles of any size.
At the core of the ATOM-U is a tankless design that provides fresh water on demand, preventing the growth of microorganisms often found in stagnant water tanks. It uses a comprehensive 3-Stage All Puri Filter System to ensure water purity. The first filter removes chlorine and certain heavy metals, the second uses a UF (Ultra Filtration) membrane to remove germs and fine particles, and the third Post-Carbon filter improves the water’s taste. This system is certified for its effectiveness in reducing contaminants.
LG has also integrated a dual-hygiene system to maintain cleanliness. The water outlet is automatically sterilized with UVnano technology (UV LED light), while the internal stainless-steel water pipes can be cleaned with a high-temperature sterilization process, removing 99.99% of germs with the touch of a button.
For everyday convenience, the ATOM-U instantly dispenses hot, cold, and ambient water. It offers precise temperature control with presets of 40°C, 75°C, and 85°C, alongside specific volume presets for dispensing exact amounts of water. Smart features continue with LG ThinQ app integration, allowing users to monitor the purifier’s status via Wi-Fi.
The new purifier is available through the rebranded LG Subscribe program, which aims to make premium appliances more accessible.

The subscription includes comprehensive maintenance, with regular visits to service the unit and replace the internal water pipes to ensure optimal hygiene and performance.
Pricing & Availability
The new LG PuriCare ATOM-U Water Purifier is available through two options. Customers can opt for the LG Subscribe plan with monthly subscription prices starting at RM100. Alternatively, the purifier can be purchased outright for RM5,200.
