OPPO has officially launched its new flagship smartphone lineup, the Find X9 series, consisting of the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro. Both devices showcase OPPO’s relentless push in mobile imaging, powered by the new LUMO Image Engine and Hasselblad collaboration, alongside significant advancements in design, display technology, and battery endurance. While the standard Find X9 sets a high bar, the Find X9 Pro distinguishes itself with a groundbreaking 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto camera.

Durably Designed with New Snap Key
The Find X9 and X9 Pro share a refined design language characterized by clean lines, flat edges with subtle contours for better grip, and a strategically placed rear camera module in the top-left corner designed to avoid finger obstruction. Both models demonstrate impressive durability, achieving IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings that provide robust protection against dust, water submersion, and even high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
A new customizable Snap Key is integrated into the frame on both phones, allowing users quick access to functions like Al Mind Space, flashlight, or the camera. The Pro model further incorporates a refined Quick Button on the right side dedicated to camera controls, including zoom functionality via swiping gestures. In terms of dimensions, the standard X9 measures a slim 7.99mm thick while the Pro comes in slightly thicker at 8.25mm.
Powerful Performance, Immersive Displays with Improved Security & Support for Motion Sickness
Upfront, both phones feature stunning flat AMOLED displays framed by incredibly slim, symmetrical 1.15mm bezels, representing the thinnest bezels ever on an OPPO device. These displays share exceptional brightness capabilities, reaching 1800 nits for full-screen brightness and a peak of 3600 nits outdoors. They also both support 10-bit colour, cover 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and can dim down to an eye-friendly 1 nit for comfortable nighttime viewing.

Security is enhanced on both models with the faster and more reliable 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, and both include the innovative Vehicle Motion Alerts feature designed to reduce motion sickness when using the phone in a moving car. The primary display differences lie in their size and specific panel technologies. The Find X9 utilises a 6.59-inch panel with a 460 ppi resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and employs 3840Hz PWM dimming for flicker reduction at low brightness levels. In contrast, the Find X9 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch screen with a 450 ppi resolution, incorporates a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate for power efficiency, and uses 2160Hz PWM dimming.
Under the hood, both models are powered by the new flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 3nm process. This chip delivers significant leaps in performance and efficiency across its CPU (up to 32% faster), its new Arm G1-Ultra GPU (up to 33% faster), and its NPU 990 (up to 111% faster). OPPO’s Trinity Engine software works in tandem with the hardware, optimizing chip-level resource management for sustained high performance.

To manage heat during demanding tasks, both phones employ advanced Vapor Chamber Cooling systems, with the Pro model featuring a larger total dissipation area (36,344mm²) compared to the standard X9 (32,052mm²). Enhanced connectivity is also a shared trait, thanks to OPPO’s self-developed RF chip and AI LinkBoost technology, which improves signal stability in weak areas .
Next Level Hasselblad Master Camera Systems
While both phones carry the Hasselblad Master Camera System branding and benefit significantly from OPPO’s new LUMO Image Engine featuring Parallel Computing, their camera hardware configurations present key differences, particularly regarding telephoto capabilities.
Several advanced imaging features are common across both the Find X9 and X9 Pro. They both include the industry-first True Color Camera, a dedicated 8-channel spectral sensor that divides the scene into a grid to precisely measure colour temperature variations, resulting in much more accurate colour reproduction, especially in difficult mixed lighting conditions.

Powered by the efficient LUMO engine, both phones capture Ultra-Clear 50MP photos by default from all rear cameras, delivering 8K-level clarity, while intelligently adapting to lower resolutions (25MP or 12MP) in challenging low-light situations. Another LUMO-enabled first is 4K Motion Photo, which records motion photos accompanied by 4K video clips, allowing users to extract high-resolution still frames.
For videographers, all cameras on both models support 4K 60fps Dolby Vision HDR recording, with the main cameras on both capable of pushing this to 4K 120fps Dolby Vision. Professional workflows are supported with LOG recording (ACES-certified) available in Pro mode. The signature Hasselblad collaboration modes also return, including Master Mode for full manual control and RAW MAX capture, an enhanced XPAN Mode now with 8K clarity, and an improved Portrait Mode offering variable focal lengths and natural-looking bokeh simulating classic Hasselblad lenses.

The Find X9 Pro distinguishes itself primarily through its telephoto setup. Its main camera is a 50MP Ultra XDR sensor (Sony LYT-828, 1/1.28″) with a fast f/1.5 aperture and OIS, capable of capturing an impressive 17 stops of dynamic range using Real-Time Triple Exposure. The standout feature is the 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto camera, utilizing a large Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor (1/1.56″) with an f/2.1 aperture and OIS. This high-resolution sensor enables 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom via a native 50MP sensor crop, and computationally enhanced lossless zoom up to 13.2x 25. It also features a Hasselblad-certified lens assembly allowing for a minimum focusing distance of just 10cm, effectively turning it into a powerful macro lens 26. The Pro’s setup is completed by a 50MP Ultra-Wide camera (Samsung ISOCELL JN5, 1/2.75″, f/2.0, AF) and a high-resolution 50MP front camera (Samsung ISOCELL JN5, 1/2.75″, f/2.0, AF).
The standard Find X9, while not featuring the 200MP sensor, still offers a very capable camera system. Its main camera uses a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor (1/1.4″) with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS. The telephoto is a 50MP Periscope camera based on the Sony LYT-600 sensor (1/1.95″) with an f/2.6 aperture and OIS, utilizing OPPO’s Triple Prism Lens technology to achieve 3x optical and 6x lossless zoom 29292929. Its Ultra-Wide camera shares the same 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor as the Pro model. The front camera on the standard X9 is a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor with fixed focus.
Third Generation Silicon-Carbon Batteries Provide Extended Battery Life
A major highlight for the entire series is the implementation of OPPO’s 3rd-Gen Silicon-Carbon battery technology, which allows for significantly higher energy density compared to traditional batteries. This enables the Find X9 Pro to pack a massive 7500 mAh battery, while the standard Find X9 houses a still very large 7025 mAh battery.
Despite these large capacities, the phones maintain relatively slim profiles. OPPO confidently claims an average of two days of typical usage for both models on a single charge and guarantees that the batteries will retain up to 80% of their original capacity even after five years of use. When it comes to recharging, both phones offer identical speeds and capabilities: 80W wired SUPERVOOC charging, 50W wireless AIRVOOC charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. They also support up to 55W fast charging via compatible third-party USB PD chargers.
Both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro run ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16.
