Samsung Unveils the Galaxy Tab S11 Series

Samsung has officially unveiled its most intelligent and advanced tablets yet with the launch of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11. These new tablets are designed to bridge the gap between productivity and entertainment, combining a new MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor with enhanced AI capabilities and a refined design. The S11 series also introduces a redesign that removes Samsung’s iconic rear bar in favour of a sleek new aesthetic, and a redesigned S Pen for a more natural feel.

The Power of a 3nm Processor

At the heart of the new Galaxy Tab S11 series is Samsung’s enhanced 3nm processor, which marks the first time this technology has been brought to a Galaxy tablet. This new chipset offers faster processing, smoother multitasking, and more responsive AI features. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, in particular, boasts performance improvements of 33% in NPU, 24% in CPU, and 27% in GPU over its predecessor.

This performance is matched by a sleek and highly portable design. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra features a remarkably slim build at just 5.1 mm, with narrow 5.2 mm bezels that maximise screen space. The thinner and lighter chassis feels as good as it looks, making the tablets easy to use on the go.

Next-Level AI and an Upgraded S Pen

The Galaxy Tab S11 series is packed with the latest Galaxy AI, now enhanced by One UI 8 and new multimodal capabilities. This allows the tablets to understand what users type, say, and see, and respond in real-time with helpful suggestions. For example, Gemini Live enables real-time visual conversations and contextual questions by seeing what the user sees, making it easy to screen share and ask Gemini to interpret a chart or summarise study material.

The full suite of Galaxy AI features has been optimised for the large screen, including Drawing Assist, which turns rough sketches into clean visuals. Users can also use Writing Assist to rework tone and style, or Circle to Search with Google to get instant on-screen translations of text as they scroll and interact.

The S Pen has also been redesigned for the S11 series, built for both focused work and creative expression. Its new cone-shaped pen tip supports increased tilt angles for better control, while a hexagonal design provides a more natural, ergonomic feel. New features like Quick Tools and Sticky Note make it easy to adjust on the fly and capture sudden thoughts without switching apps.

Smarter Multitasking with Samsung DeX

The enhanced Samsung DeX on the Galaxy Tab S11 series empowers users to maximise their productivity. The latest upgrades introduce Extended Mode, which transforms the tablet and an external monitor into a seamless dual-screen setup. This allows users to drag and drop apps between displays, or reference a document on one screen while presenting on the other. Users can also create up to four separate, customised workspaces for different needs, from work to creative projects to planning a trip.

Both the Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra feature a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The displays deliver up to 1600 nits of peak brightness, ensuring clear, vivid visuals even outdoors. The new tablets are powered by a powerful battery with support for 45 W charging to ensure long-lasting use.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series will be available in Malaysia starting September 19. The tablets are offered in two colours: Gray and Silver. The following Recommended Retail Prices (RRP) apply:
