GIGABYTE is expanding its 2025 AI PC lineup in Malaysia with the official launch of the GIGABYTE AERO X16. This new laptop is specifically tailored for creators, hybrid users, and anyone focused on digital design and AI-driven workflows on the go. As a Copilot+ PC, the AERO X16 is built to combine powerful hardware with intelligent software, promising a seamless and immersive experience. At the heart of the AERO X16 is a combination of powerful components designed for performance. It features an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 CPU and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, with support for up to 85W of Max Graphics Power. This is all powered by the Blackwell architecture and NVIDIA DLSS 4 for AI-accelerated performance.
The real star of the show is GIGABYTE’s own exclusive GiMATE AI Agent, which enables intuitive “Press & Speak” voice control, intelligent system tuning, and privacy features. The laptop is also built on an AI-ready platform with NVIDIA NIM, which allows users to create personal AI agents and streamline their creative workflows with tools like Cocreator and Generative Fill.
A Design That Balances Form and Function
The AERO X16 doesn’t just perform well; it looks and feels the part, too. Weighing just 1.9kg and measuring a slender 16.75mm thin, it’s designed to be easily carried around without sacrificing power. It comes in a stylish Space Grey finish and features an iridescent NIL design with a refined sandblasted finish that gives it a minimalist aesthetic.
The immersive experience is enhanced by its stunning 16-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display, which boasts a 92% screen-to-body ratio thanks to a 4-sided slim bezel design. This panel is also Pantone Validated and TÜV Rheinland certified, ensuring accurate colours and reduced eye strain. To keep all this power running cool and quiet, the laptop uses a WINDFORCE Infinity cooling system with 12V dual fans and a 0dB ambient mode, ensuring performance in silence. For those long days of work or creativity, the AERO X16 also provides up to 12 hours of battery life with PD 3.0 fast charging.
Pricing & Availability
The GIGABYTE AERO X16 is available in two variants in Malaysia:
- The AERO X16 1WH with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU is priced at RM7,299.
- The AERO X16 1VH with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU is priced at RM6,199.
As part of a Merdeka launch promotion, customers who purchase the GIGABYTE AERO X16 between August 1 and September 30, 2025, will receive exclusive free gifts, including a gaming backpack, RM150 in TNG E-wallet credit, and an AORUS CHIBI figure. The campaign is available at selected dealers and online platforms nationwide.
