Hollyland Releases Lark A1 & Lark Max 2 Wireless Microphone Systems

Hollyland has introduced two new wireless microphone systems, the Lark A1 and the Lark Max 2, each aimed at different user groups. The Lark A1 is designed as a compact, simple-to-use system for casual users and content creators, while the Lark Max 2 is a more advanced system with professional-grade features for demanding recording environments.

The Hollyland Lark A1 is engineered for portability and ease of use. The transmitter is small and lightweight, weighing 12 grams. The system operates on a plug-and-play basis, where the receiver is plugged directly into a device’s USB-C or Lightning port and pairs automatically with the transmitter. It captures audio at a 48kHz/24bit sample rate.

A key feature of the Lark A1 is its one-touch Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). When activated, this function helps to reduce ambient background noise, such as wind or city traffic, to isolate the speaker’s voice. The system has a stated line-of-sight transmission range of up to 200 meters (656 feet). Each transmitter has an internal battery that provides up to 8 hours of use, and the included charging case can extend the total operational time to 30 hours. For users who wish to have more control over the audio settings, the LarkSound mobile app is available.

Hollyland Lark Max 2: Record in 32-bit Float Natively

The Lark Max 2 is designed for professional users who require a higher degree of audio fidelity and reliability. It incorporates several advanced technologies, most notably 32-bit float recording.

IMG 20250606 142414The primary benefit of 32-bit float recording is its extremely wide dynamic range. In practice, this makes the audio recording virtually impossible to “clip” or distort from unexpectedly loud sounds. This technology provides significant flexibility during post-production, as audio levels can be adjusted dramatically without degrading the quality of the recording, making it highly suitable for unpredictable filming situations.

The Lark Max 2 also features an AI-based noise cancellation algorithm. This system is designed to identify and isolate human speech while actively suppressing various forms of background noise for clearer dialogue. The audio is captured using Hollyland’s MaxTimbre Mic technology, which is engineered for rich, detailed sound, and the system has a 70dB signal-to-noise ratio.

IMG 20250606 142722For added data security, each transmitter has 32GB of internal storage, which allows for up to 14 hours of direct, onboard backup recording. This ensures a clean audio file is captured even if wireless transmission is interrupted. The receiver is equipped with a color AMOLED touchscreen, which allows users to monitor and adjust settings in real-time. The system’s line-of-sight transmission range is rated up to 280 meters (920 feet). With the charging case, the system provides up to 40 hours of total use.

Pricing & Availability

The Lark A1 system is available now in black and white finishes. It is offered in several configurations: the Mini Duo with a USB-C receiver is priced at RM169 (approx. USD 39), and the Mini Duo with a Lightning receiver is RM199 (approx. USD 45). The standard Lark A1 Duo with a USB-C receiver is RM219 (approx. USD 49). A combo version including both USB-C and Lightning connectors is available for RM319 (approx. USD 69).

The Lark Max 2 system is available for pre-order from June 6 to June 20. A launch promotion is being offered for the first 100 orders of the Lark Max 2 Combo, which will be upgraded to the Lark Max 2 Ultimate Combo at no additional charge. This upgrade includes the OWS Monitor Earphones. The standard Lark Max 2 Combo, with two transmitters and a receiver, is priced at RM1,169 (approx. USD 249). The Ultimate Combo is priced at RM1,299 (approx. USD 279). A larger configuration with four transmitters is also available for RM1,449 (approx. USD 309).

The Hollyland Lark A1 and Lark Max 2 can be purchased from official retail partners or from e-commerce platforms like Shopee and Lazada.

LG Launches PuriCare ATOM-U Water Purifier with Seamless, Minimalist,

LG Electronics Malaysia has expanded its lineup of home solutions with the launch of the new LG PuriCare ATOM-U Water Purifier. Designed to seamlessly integrate into modern kitchens, this appliance combines a space-saving undersink design with advanced filtration and smart technology. The launch coincides with LG’s rebranding of its rental service to LG Subscribe, providing a new way for Malaysians to access premium home technology.

The ATOM-U’s most notable feature is its minimalist undersink design, which keeps the main filtration unit hidden away to maximize countertop space. The slim unit can be installed flexibly, either horizontally or vertically, to fit various cabinet layouts. User interaction is centered around a sleek, 180-degree rotating faucet, making it convenient to fill pots and bottles of any size.

At the core of the ATOM-U is a tankless design that provides fresh water on demand, preventing the growth of microorganisms often found in stagnant water tanks. It uses a comprehensive 3-Stage All Puri Filter System to ensure water purity. The first filter removes chlorine and certain heavy metals, the second uses a UF (Ultra Filtration) membrane to remove germs and fine particles, and the third Post-Carbon filter improves the water’s taste. This system is certified for its effectiveness in reducing contaminants.
LG has also integrated a dual-hygiene system to maintain cleanliness. The water outlet is automatically sterilized with UVnano technology (UV LED light), while the internal stainless-steel water pipes can be cleaned with a high-temperature sterilization process, removing 99.99% of germs with the touch of a button.

IMG 20250606 105858For everyday convenience, the ATOM-U instantly dispenses hot, cold, and ambient water. It offers precise temperature control with presets of 40°C, 75°C, and 85°C, alongside specific volume presets for dispensing exact amounts of water. Smart features continue with LG ThinQ app integration, allowing users to monitor the purifier’s status via Wi-Fi.

The new purifier is available through the rebranded LG Subscribe program, which aims to make premium appliances more accessible.

“The combination of our LG Subscribe rebranding and the launch of the ATOM-U Water Purifier demonstrates our holistic approach to innovation – reimagining both products and how consumers access them. This philosophy will continue to guide LG as we develop solutions that make life better for Malaysians,”

– Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia

The subscription includes comprehensive maintenance, with regular visits to service the unit and replace the internal water pipes to ensure optimal hygiene and performance.

LG Rebrands Rent-Up to LG Subscribe with Expanded Offerings

LG Electronics Malaysia has strategically rebranded its “LG Rent-Up” program to “LG Subscribe”. This rebranding reflects a shift from a traditional ownership model to a subscription-based service, offering Malaysians flexible access to LG’s premium home appliance technology. The announcement was made at an exclusive event attended by Lee Zii Jia, Paris 2024 Olympics Badminton Men’s Singles Bronze Medallist and LG Brand Ambassador.

The decision to rebrand stemmed from customer feedback, which indicated confusion about whether “rent” implied temporary use or a path to ownership. Aligning with other subsidiaries like Korea, Thailand, India, and Singapore, LG Malaysia adopted the name “LG Subscribe” for clarity and intuitiveness.

“Following our Future Vision 2030 laid out globally, we aim to transform LG into a Smart Life Solution Company by connecting and enhancing customer experiences across all living spaces – from homes and commercial environments to mobility and virtual platforms. We’re moving beyond consumer electronics to deliver intelligent solutions that improve everyday life,” said Mr Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Electronics Malaysia.

LG Subscribe offers access to a range of 10 premium products, encompassing innovations like LG PuriCare™ water purification systems, LG CordZero vacuum technology, LG ArtCool air conditioning, and LG WashTower laundry solutions. Subscribers benefit from professional maintenance services for 5 to 7 years and seamless integration with LG’s ThinQ smart technology, all with flexible payment options. The service has gained popularity, particularly among young families seeking premium appliances without significant upfront costs.

In conjunction with the rebranding, LG Malaysia also introduced the LG PuriCare™ ATOM-U Water Purifier. This undersink design combines minimalist aesthetics with advanced technology, delivering clean water while saving space.

“The combination of our LG Subscribe rebranding and the launch of the ATOM-U Water Purifier demonstrates our holistic approach to innovation – reimagining both products and how consumers access them. This philosophy will continue to guide LG as we develop solutions that make life better for Malaysians, and we’re excited about the innovations we’ll bring to market in the coming years,”
